The liver, large intestine, lymphatic system, and skin are natural detoxifiers. They do not produce hormones, and instead they usher out hormones that have been circulating in the body for too long. For instance, when there is a build-up of estrogen it can stimulate tumors to grow, which then feed off of leftover toxins and become more harmful.
The liver breaks down hormones and other substances into smaller molecules that travel through the gallbladder and large intestine. As the molecules make their way through, they bind to fibers from foods, and then exit the body via bowel movements.
The lymphatic system is an organ in the circulatory and immune system. It is made up of spider web looking vessels, organs, and tissues that carry a clear liquid called Lymph towards the heart. The system’s main properties are protecting the body from illness-causing invaders, maintaining body fluids, and removing cellular waste from bloodstream and lymph node regions. Lymphatic organs and skin (largest organ) rid the body of cellular waste and hormonal overloads through sweat.
Without these vital organs our body would not be able to function properly because we would be getting sick from toxins and end up with serious diseases and ailments. The body would not know how to generate new, healthy cells, because they would be overpowered by the bad ones. Eating clean foods and well balanced meals, drinking the daily recommended amount of fluids, taking vitamins, using probiotics, exercising (to sweat) will help the body naturally detoxify and allow organs to not have to compensate.
